For reasons I'll never understand, anything I've ever posted screens of is systematically being claimed as either fake or non-existent.
Apparently the latest such is Windows Powered...
& rather than post the facts on the forum where the attitude of certain members would test my patience, I'll post them here for future reference...
First up, there are a few there that insist that Windows Powered was simply the SAKit, which was used to alter certain aspects of the OS used, which then resulted in the OS being rebranded, whilst that is only partially true, a simple search on Microsofts own sight itself states that Windows Powered is in fact an OS that installs from CD, & that the SAKit is a separate item...
Here are 2 such screenshots from 2 separate pages from the MS sight that list Windows Powered as being an operating system, separate from the SAKit itself...
Note the text below in bold lists the operating systems that can be used to build a NAS server appliance master OS image, then underneath that, mentions the SAKit as a separate piece of software...
So basically, the SAKit doesn't create a windows powered OS, it enables original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to quickly create headless, fixed-function server appliance products based on the Microsoft Windows operating system.
The operating system used to create the server appliance product can be Windows "Server" , "Advanced Server" or "Windows Powered"...
Then there's the fact that the service packs for windows 2000 themselves have the files needed to update the Windows Powered operating system itself, which I might add also has the files
required for installing the operating system from a bootable CD, like dosnet.inf, txtsetup.sif, layout.inf & other such files required for a fresh install, why people choose to exclude that fact is beyond me...
SYStem Optional Components.inf / Sysoc.inf
Others in the service packs
What I also find hard to believe is the fact that the details of a torrent regarding an ISO of it posted on another forum has a label that finishes in FPP, yet like Datacenter server, was only ever released by OEMs, ISVs & IHVs...
I started my search for this OS 12 years ago, all links led to OEMs only, & since the boot screen & other areas of branding only show when prepped by an OEM vendor, the FPP tag makes no sense at all...
& the theory of the Windows Powered CD as merely being the SAKit CD is even more far fetched given the FPP tag used on this torrent that's supposedly out there regarding this OS...
& a side note, there were betas of the SAKits...

Yeah, seems haters are always going to hate, whether they have a reason to or not...
I could speculate why in this reply, though it's not worth my time...
